The Slackjaw Apparel team made the journey down to Brands Hatch this past weekend for the iconic American SpeedFest, and it didn’t disappoint. Set against the backdrop of roaring V8 engines, classic muscle cars, and a crowd soaked in Americana, SpeedFest 11 was everything we hoped for—and then some.
From the moment the gates opened, we were in our element. Cameras in hand, we roamed the paddocks and grandstands snapping shots of the best American muscle cars the UK has to offer—Camaro SS, Mustangs, Challengers, and a fleet of race-prepped beasts taking on the circuit with thunderous intensity. The NASCAR Euro Series provided a serious rush, with high-octane action on the track all weekend long.
Of course, it wasn’t all burning rubber and horsepower. True to SpeedFest style, the event delivered full-blown Americana lifestyle vibes—think BBQ, ice-cold beers, vintage trucks, rockabilly music, and stars-and-stripes everywhere you looked. It was the perfect setting to catch up with old mates, share a few drinks, and soak in the electric atmosphere.
