Our Raw Denim is produced in 14.5oz cotton and is garment dyed at source. This means it is designed for longevity, constant wear and a beautiful fade over time.
When it comes to caring for your Slackjaw Raw Denim pieces, we recommend not washing them! We know what you're thinking, a long day on the bike, about town, out with friends, it might need a wash! But this denim is made to stand the test of time, it's built for the journey and isn't afraid of a bit of hard graft.
Over time, natural stress points will emerge, and fades will begin to set in. Your Raw Denim will begin to tell its own story of wear and tear, consider it an ever evolving tapestry of its time on your back.
In the event that you feel you must wash your denim piece, there are a few rules we suggest following:
1. Cold, hand wash only
2. Do not wash with other garments
3. Do not tumble dry
4. Spot clean marks with cold water
